Whether it's a reception for 100 or a dinner for 800, the Straz Center will wow your most hard-to-please guests. From intimate gatherings to grand affairs, our catering staff will assist you every step of the way. The Straz Center offers a variety of venues, with decor from colorful tie-dyes to elegant bow ties. Our spacious facilities are ideal for your wedding. Beautiful outdoor areas feature cascading fountains and a spectacular view along the Riverwalk, while Maestro's Restaurant and theater lobbies provide your event with a theatrical flair. Maestro's Restaurant is an elegant ballroom, a spacious 5,000-square-foot room overlooking the downtown skyline, accommodating 300. Events for up to 600 are perfect for the magnificent Morsani Hall lobby. Venue accommodations are as follows: Maestro's Restaurant — 300, Morsani Hall Lobby — 600, Ferguson Hall Lobby — 200, Riverwalk Promenade — 1,500 Tents also are available for rental. Don't miss the 2011 Bridal Showcase! Over the last few years the Straz Center has become an ideal location for couples to begin their lives as husband and wife and Maestros Catering has hosted many of those special occasions. As these bookings increase, many couples ask about services that are available in the area.
As a result of these inquiries, the Straz Center started hosting an annual bridal show in 2009 this year marks our Third Annual Bridal Showcase, to be held on Sun., Feb.19, 2012 from noon – 3 p.m. This event will feature businesses throughout the Tampa Bay Area that make every wedding a special event. We would like to invite you to join us and become a preferred vendor for our future brides and grooms.
