The international dance sensation Burn the Floor comes to Tampa April 24-29 direct from its record-breaking run on Broadway!  You've seen Ballroom dance on shows like "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance."  Now, with Burn the Floor,  you will feel, live on stage, all the passion, the drama and the sizzling excitement of 20 gorgeous champion dancers, in a true theatrical experience, a performance with a grace and athleticism that The New York Times calls, "Dazzling!"

From Harlem's hot nights at The Savoy, where dances such as the Lindy, Foxtrot and Charleston were born, to the Latin Quarter where the Cha-Cha, Rumba and Salsa steamed up the stage, Burn the Floor takes audiences on a journey through the passionate drama of dance. The elegance of the Viennese Waltz, the exuberance of the Jive, the intensity of the Paso Doble - audiences will experience them all, as well as the Tango, Samba, Mambo, Quickstep and Swing.

Pricing

Regularly priced tickets start at $39.50.

Student tickets are available for $25 for the Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday performances. This offer excludes price level 1. One discounted ticket per ID. Cash only at the Straz Center Ticket Office window. Applicable service charges are included in the price.

Group minimum is 15 people.
Receive a 10% for groups of 15 or more, and a 15% discount for groups of 40 or more.
Receive 2 comps per group of 40 or more.
*Excludes Saturday evening
Early Bird Discount: receive an additional 5% off the Group ticket price, if paid in full 8 weeks out.
Student group rates of $25 Gallery tickets and $35 Balcony tickets (plus service fee) for select performances.
There is a talkback on Wed., Apr. 25 in the theater following the performance. Groups also save on the service fee – just $1.50 per ticket!

Educator's discount: 50% off. Limit 2 tickets. Tuesday and Wednesday only. Balcony and Gallery only. Other restrictions apply.

There is a maximum ticket allotment of eight tickets per account/household/business for paid, ticketed events. (For some shows, it may be less.) Applicable service charges added at point of purchase. There is no maximum for free, non-ticketed events.

For ticket purchases via the phone or ticket office, service charges are waived for current annual Straz members at the $400 level and higher, although special handling fees may apply to some shows. Service charges for online transactions apply to all members. 

Pursuant to s.817.36, Florida Statutes, no Straz Center ticket may be offered or resold for more than $1 over the face value of the ticket.
