The entire José Carreras United States tour has been cancelled.

Since the March 2 concert will not be rescheduled, the Straz Center is offering gift cards as compensation that may be used for upcoming shows including Il Divo in concert, Opera Tampa’s Aida and much more. The gift cards may also be used for meals, Patel Conservatory classes and for the 12-13 Opera Tampa season, which will be announced this spring.

If refunds are preferred, they are available by calling the Ticket Office by March 8 at 813.229.STAR (7827). Refunds will be processed according to the original mode of payment.

Pricing

Regularly priced tickets start at $49.50. VIP Tickets are $150 and include premium seating plus a meet and greet after the concert. Only 60 VIP tickets are available. VIP ticket purchases must be made before Dec. 2, 2011.

There is a maximum ticket allotment of eight tickets per account/household/business for paid, ticketed events. (For some shows, it may be less.) Applicable service charges added at point of purchase. There is no maximum for free, non-ticketed events.

For ticket purchases via the phone or ticket office, service charges are waived for current annual Straz members at the $400 level and higher, although special handling fees may apply to some shows. Service charges for online transactions apply to all members. 

Pursuant to s.817.36, Florida Statutes, no Straz Center ticket may be offered or resold for more than $1 over the face value of the ticket.
