Darrell Scott

Scott's songs have been recorded by more than 70 artists including the Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, Sam Bush and Garth Brooks. He won Americana Songwriter of the Year in 2007 and ASCAP's Songwriter of the Year in 2002. Rolling Stone says he "matches Guy Clark and Bruce Springsteen at their best." Performing Songwriter calls him "the best of the best." USA Today says his songs are "brilliantly clever." In addition to his songwriting, Scott is a brilliant player on multiple instruments. He recently toured with Robert Plant's Band of Joy. His new record, a live concert with Tim O'Brien called "We're Usually A Lot Better Than This," comes out on Oct. 9. Pricing

Regularly priced single tickets start at $28.50. 

There is a maximum ticket allotment of eight tickets per account/household/business for paid, ticketed events. (For some shows, it may be less.) Applicable service charges added at point of purchase. There is no maximum for free, non-ticketed events.

For ticket purchases via the phone or ticket office, service charges are waived for current annual Straz members at the $400 level and higher, although special handling fees may apply to some shows. Service charges for online transactions apply to all members.

Pursuant to s.817.36, Florida Statutes, no Straz Center ticket may be offered or resold for more than $1 over the face value of the ticket.
