Best of Tampa Bay with headliner Vertical Horizon

The Straz Center’s Best of Tampa Bay returns for its 27th year on Sat., April 21, starting at 7 p.m. rain or shine! The event promises to tantalize taste buds with various entrée samplings, luscious desserts, specialty coffees and premium drinks. More than 40 of Tampa Bay’s best restaurants, caterers and vendors are expected to participate in this year’s event which is hosted by the Producers Volunteer group. Raymond James is the presenting sponsor.

Headlining the main stage at this year’s Best of Tampa Bay is Vertical Horizon whose hits include “Everything You Want,” “You're a God” and “Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning).”

Other entertainment, scheduled on the main stage throughout the evening, includes the local bands Trumaine Lamar, Seven Years Past and The Groves. Singer/songwriter Maggie Council and the violin/guitar duo Rebecca Zapen and LaRue Nickelson will play in the lobby of Ferguson Hall during the event. Acoustic guitarist Dean Johanesen will play in the lobby of Carol Morsani Hall.

Regularly priced tickets start at $80. Table of 10: $1000 (One hour early admission). Please call 813.222.1037 for table purchases.

There is a maximum ticket allotment of eight tickets per account/household/business for paid, ticketed events. (For some shows, it may be less.) Applicable service charges added at point of purchase. There is no maximum for free, non-ticketed events.

For ticket purchases via the phone or ticket office, service charges are waived for current annual Straz members at the $400 level and higher, although special handling fees may apply to some shows. Service charges for online transactions apply to all members.
