Summer Fantasy

Summer Fantasy

More than 200 pre-professional ballet students from around the globe will perform in suites from the ballets Don Quixote and Coppelia (originally choreographed by Arthur Saint-Léon to the music of Léo Delibes). These dancers were chosen from a pool of more than 1,000 applicants nationwide to come to Tampa to train and perform. Leading the ensemble will be Jeffrey and Lia Cirio, guest principal dancers from Boston Ballet. Rounding out the program will be the world premier of a cutting-edge, contemporary work by Susan Downey and Kelly King.
