The Florida Orchestra presents Mendelssohn's Scottish Symphony

The concert opens with Wagner’s dramatic and stormy Overture to The Flying Dutchman followed by Orion Weiss performing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 27...with the evening concluding with Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3, Scottish.

Pre-Concert Conversation: All evening Masterworks programs offer a pre-concert talk about the music and the composers in the concert hall beginning one hour prior to curtain.

There is a maximum ticket allotment of eight tickets per account/household/business for paid, ticketed events. (For some shows, it may be less.) Applicable service charges added at point of purchase. There is no maximum for free, non-ticketed events.

Pursuant to s.817.36, Florida Statutes, no Straz Center ticket may be offered or resold for more than $1 over the face value of the ticket.
