Public Advocacy
The Straz Center was conceived and built by a strong public/private partnership. In addition to our devoted individual, foundation and corporate supporters, it takes the continued strong support from the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County and the Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners, the State of Florida Division of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts to keep all the outstanding Straz Center and Patel Conservatory programs affordable and accessible.
