HOW TO ORDER TICKETS

All Hillsborough County Public Schools must reserve through the district's website

HOME SCHOOLS:
Order with a credit card online, or call group sales at 813-222-1047 or 813-222-1016.
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS:
HOW TO RESERVE A FIELD TRIP PERFORMANCE
Call any of the numbers listed above to place a reservation. Please have the following information ready:
• A list of shows that you would like to attend and an alternative selection in case your first selection is sold out.
• Your school’s mailing address and phone/fax numbers.
• The number of students, number of chaperones, method of transportation and if your school group has any special needs.
• Everyone attending a performance, regardless of age, must purchase (or be allocated) a ticket. This includes teachers, chaperones and bus drivers – anyone planning on attending the show.
CONFIRMATIONS
An invoice confirming your order and containing payment instructions will be mailed or emailed to the school contact supplied at the time of the reservation. If you need to make any changes to your reservations, particularly increasing or decreasing the number of tickets, please contact the group sales team as soon as possible.
RESERVATION PAYMENTS/RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS
PAYMENTS
The confirmation invoice is also your payment invoice. Payment in full must be received four weeks before the date of the performance you are planning to attend. Checks or money orders should be made out to Straz Center, and mailed to Straz Center, 1010 N WC MacInnes Place, Tampa, FL, 33602, Attention: Field Trip Group Sales. There are no refunds available after final payment is made.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be made a minimum of 30 days before the performance. Your reservation will be cancelled if payment is not received by the due date on your invoice. If cancelling a reservation with less than 30 days notice, the school will be responsible for 50% of the total balance due indicated on the confirmation invoice.
COMPLIMENTARY TICKET POLICY
• One FREE admission is provided for every 15 paid student seats.
• One FREE admission is provided for every five paid special education student seats.
• One FREE admission is provided for each paid student requiring walker or wheelchair assistance or one-to-one assistance for any other reason.
DAY OF SHOW POLICIES
- On arrival, the lead teacher of each school will be required to check-in with the group sales team providing an accurate headcount of both students and adults day of.
- All attendees will be required to pass through metal detectors before entering the venue.
- Backpacks are prohibited on campus. Purses, medical and messenger bags cannot exceed 12” x 6” x 12” and will be subject to a bag check before entering. Security operators will view the interior of the bag and if no violations are found or observed, the guest will be given clearance to proceed into the event.
- To expedite the security screening process, we strongly encourage all guests to come bag-free and utilize our express security line. All weapons and self-defense items are prohibited and can result in denied entry (firearms, knives, pepper spray, etc.).
- Due to limited space and event scheduling, the Straz Center is unable to allow students to eat lunch on property. Some rare exceptions can be made, but schools must receive clearance in advance.
